Red Sea Pier
A large portion of the city of Hurgarda is geared towards tourism. As you drive down the strip, there are literally hundreds of half constructed hotels, resorts and other structures with sunlight peering through the hollow concrete foundations. Apparently the city was destined to be a teeming metropolis, a dream that was never achieved due to a combination of the Egyptian revolution and anti-Egypt foreign travel advice. Nevertheless a walk along the beaches on the front of the functioning hotels reveals gems like this coloured pier where a couple can be seen taking a selfie and is assuredly a great olace to visit.
