In recent times the Philippines has suffered a lot from overtourism and this particular place has taken somewhat of a hit. Described quite aptly by the @lonelyplanet as the darling of the Philippines, the Bacuit Archipelago is indeed a beautiful place. Akin to Ha Long in northern Vietnam, there are crystal teal and azure waters with large limestone islands rising at seemingly random points. Most people experience the archipelago as one of the alphabetical tours, and if you do, be prepared for a lot of tourists. The tours A, B, C etc. don't very hugely with similar activities such as kayaking and snorkeling but still each one has its own unique islands to visit . Here a boat can be seen preparing lunch using an open fire with freshly caught local ingredients.
